Church Planting
"The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field." Luke 10:2
Charasia currently helps support 65 churches throughout the Maharashtra region. Our Bible Institute trains young men to pastor the existing churches and help establish new ones. They plant strong, biblically-based churches that encourage God’s people to seek Him, grow into a closer relationship with Him, and share His love with everyone around them.
Our goal is that the life of Christ would be reflected in and through the lives of His body of believers, so that their example would create a contagious passion to know Him in the life of everyone touched by that church.
Discipleship
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations…teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19, 20
To raise up true disciples who desire to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ, we teach what Scripture says about being a true disciple—true disciples are those who stand firm in God’s Word, take up their crosses daily, follow Jesus Christ, and bear the fruit of the Spirit unto His Glory.
One of our main discipleship tools is the “Life in Christ Discipleship” study written by Susanne Mazur, and translated into the Marathi language by Saroj Borde, mother of Charasia founder, Ralph Borde. This study focuses on learning what it means to be a disciple of Christ and how to be His disciple. The series trains us how to apply the Cross to our individual lives as believers and how the life of Christ can be revealed in and through our lives to others for the praise and glory of God.
