Prostitution Rescue and Child Protection
India has millions of women and children who are victims of the horrific prostitution industry. It is our goal to rescue children whose mothers are enslaved in prostitution, thereby saving the children from being forced into child prostitution, as well as providing an opportunity to witness to their mothers. Our hope is to bring many women and children out of their terrible bondage into a life where they know the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Another tragic consequence of the prostitution is that due to the rampant sexual promiscuity it promotes, sexually transmitted diseases are quickly spreading through India’s population. The number of children with AIDS is rapidly increasing due to the “Virgin Cure” belief, the horrendous myth that the innocence of young girls can cure AIDS and other STDs. Girls as young as 6 years old are being forced into sexual slavery because of this appalling belief.
We hope to rescue these children from prostitution and place them in an environment that will meet their immediate physical needs, as well as introduce to them the emotional and spiritual healing that only Jesus Christ can offer.
